My DNS settings are all ok -

Indeed all the settings are standard for all my domains

Can we have a list of items I should check
I usually create a site with fairly standard settings
and use them for all my sites

mail for this user@xxxxxxx still bouncing

I think he was talking about your dns server. You have to have an mx record
for abc.com in yoour dns record. I always create 2 mx records, one for
www.abc.com and another for abc.com. However, there was previous discussion about certain updates messing up pop before smtp. Then you have to manually
go in and repair it. You can check the threads for more info.
