Hi,
Log-on as root, and use the rpm -qa, that will give you the version of all
the programm install on the Qube.
The only problem that i have ran into is that rpm won't install :
rpm -hUv
ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/glibc-devel-2.0.7-29C2.mips.rpm
Error message :
/usr/include/rpcsvc/rquota.h conflicts with file from quota-1.55-5C2
/usr/include/rpcsvc/rquota.x conflicts with file from quota-1.55-5C2
rpm -hUv
ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/MySQL-bench-3.22.21-2C1.mips.rpm
Error message :
failed dependencies:
MySQL-DBI-perl-bin is needed by MySQL-bench-3.22.21-2C1
And the Mysql-DBI-perl-bin-1.1825-rh50.1 is install
If anyone have some clue why ?

Subject: [cobalt-users] Installing MySql+PHP
Hello
I went through the KB and various README for installing PHP and MySQL on a
Qube2 and I think I understand almost everything. There is only one thing
that I want to ask before proceeding:
The README.php3+mysql shows what 5 files to install but the README.mysql
says :
"The floating point support is fixed. To use floating point successfully,
you must upgrade your glibc to 2.0.7-29C2 or higher."
I am pretty new to Linux, so I would very much appreciate if somebody could
tell me how to check that on my machine and eventually if there is something
to be done to upgrade before installing. The only thing I was able to check
was the gcc version which is:
"Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/mipsel-linux/2.7.2/specs
gcc version 2.7.2"
Also I have a 16mb Qube2, I was wondering if that would be enough for
running mysql+php in addition to the regular stuff (http, ftp, mail, no more
than 3 users, it's more of a test server ..)
Thank you very much.
