RE: MAILLOG NOT BEING WRITTEN TO

For some reason the maillog and access logs on my RaQ31 did not get zipped
for a month so I gzipped them. The access log was recreated, the maillog
was not.

I created a new maillog <touch /var/log/maillog>, had to resent permissions
from 644 back to 600 as the previous maillog, but file was not written to
when tested.

Any bright ideas?
