Try setting the host that root is allowed to logon from to "%".
(You may need to do this in ssh. I cant remember the exact command)
If you want I will look it up for you.
This then means that root can logon from anywhere. If it then works
I surest instead of leaving it like this (Not good for security)
you create another root user. One allowed to login from localhost
and another from domain.com.
Hope it works. did for me. :)

I have problem with my Mysql db When ever I go in and tried to change any
items in "Privileges" it is exist on the list but It is giving me
following error
User 'root'@'domain.com'
The selected user was not found in the privilege table.
How could I get it work? From Using Phpmyadmin
Or If you could send me to forum or support site
