[cobalt-users] Qube2, PPP, DSL and hackers

I have DSL from Bell Atlantic which uses dynamic PPP,
not DHCP so I have been unable to connect Qube 2 as a
firewall (since no one seems to know how to get Qube 2
to ask for IP addresses on a PPP dynamic IP). So... I
have connected the DSL modem directly to my network
switch (out of desperation!!). I have also installed
Zone Alarm (www.zonelabs.com) dynamic firewall on the
two computers on the network to act as a software
firewall. QUESTION: If I shut down my computers when
I am not using them, or keep Zone Alarm active and keep
the Qube II on and connected to the DSL modem, can a
hacker get into the Qube II? Thanks
