Funnily enough - I saw this very error this morning.  I closed down the 
browser and rebooted the PC, logged back into phpmyadmin and it went I away 
I think.  Although I can't be sure - I was removing 2.2.6 and installing 
2.5.1 at the time, I can't remember which version it happened on/
