Just a small unrelated (well mostly) question
Can clamav clean files ? I only can see the option "remove", which means
it will remove the whole file... I'd rather see it clean the virus out of
the file (I'm not talking mail-virus stuff, I'm talking about an actual
linux-virus that has infected my cobalt :-( )
No, it can't clean a file - currently.
However, The need to do so is almost non-existent. The last time I saw an
infected file that could be cleaned was about 3 years ago.
