Bob,
thank you for the help!
I followed the notes found on
http://www.depopo.net/content/howto/cobalt-qube3-whitebox.htm
and I managed to install BlueQuarz on RedHat 9 system using
BlueQuartz-5100WG-20031117.tar.gz.
I want to just mention one typo in the document:
"quotacheck -a -u -g -a" should read "quotacheck -c -u -g -a"
Also it would be nice if you could mention somewhere in the document
that admin/root password will be
changed to "admin" after the installation.
Now I'm going to check what's working and what's not....
I saw some of the original Qube3 features missing.
Is there anyone who can tell me if this is an installation problem or
just these features are not ported to RedHat9 yet.
In the menu structure I found missing the following items:
Users&Groups
1.LDAP Directory
2.Import users
Email
1.Mailing Lists
2.Remote retrieval
File & Print
1.Print Servet
2.FTP
Web
1.Web caching
2.Web access
Network
1.DHCP
2.SNMP
Security
1. Basic Firewall
2. Adaptive Firewall
3. Point-to-Point VPN
4.Remote Access VPN
System

2.Time
Maintenance

2.Restore
Usage Information
