Hi to all,
I just got a Qube 2700WG and now I want to use it as
- NAT - gateway (adsl using pppoe)
- VPN - server
- web + mail server
if possible it should run mysql and php / perl too.
I'd prefer running my Qube with debian, but the only articles I found about
installing debian on a Qube were about Qube 2, over a year old and all of
them were full of problems. - None of them worked for me.
I must admit that I'm not a real crack at installing linux via network on a
remote machine I cant put a CD in - to be honest I only tried it with a
normal i386 arch and did that with a step-by-step manual and needed two
runs for success.
What I need is some information (some links would be great :) ) on how
to set
up a server I can boot the Qube from, where to find a quite up-to-date
kernel
for doing that up to the point where I can install a debian base-system
on that
mashine.
Thanx for your mails in advance,
Sebastian Gingter
