There is no way to do it without an OS restore (AFAIK).

Open your box and see if there are two IDE headers on the motherboard.
If yes then goto fit new drive and restore.
Else if
You need to solder an additional header for the second IDE cable onto the
motherboard.
I think most 4i boards had 2 headers so the above is only needed if you have
one of the ones that only had 1 header.
End if

Fitting new drive..

You need a drive tray (if there is not a second one in the box) a drive
identical to the first one, a second IDE cable and an OS restore CD for the
RQA4r.
The drive should not have other existing Linux partitions on it, just a
single DOS partition is fine.
Set both drives to MASTER on the jumpers.

Use the restore CD and you are done.

If you are going to do a restore you might like to think about making the
partitions a decent size and putting all the patches on a custom OS restore
and burning the CD. Details at
