I think my /var/log is getting full. I know I can download and delete the
.gz files, but is it okay for me to delete the .1 or .2 files? I'm not sure
what they are.
Below is the contents of my /var/log
auth dmesg maillog postgresql secure wtmp.1.gz
boot.log httpd messages postgresql.1.gz secure.1.gz xferlog
c:maillog.2 kernel messages.1.gz postgresql.2.gz spooler xferlog.1
cron lastlog messages.2 samba wtmp
Also, what other folders get full and need to be monitored? I have used 79%
of my operating system and program space, so need to keep an eye on this.
