i'm not daniel, but i have already explained daniel's problem and its solution for this case to the list (cause i'm the one who looked about his raq). just take a look on my posting from 06 Apr 2000 09:51. we didn't "solve" the problem, we just used another way to avoid it.
1) don't use your own AliasMatch-lines. use the "users/username" or "~username" method. 2) if that's not ok for you and you still want to use your own AliasMatch-lines, disable the cgi-wrapper (meaning: change all "AddHandler cgi-wrapper..." lines to "AddHandler cgi-script..." lines). 3) if you don't want to disable the cgi-wrapper - tell cobalt that you need documentation for configuring it properly. i already did, but no answer.
