Hello!
I have installed RaQ4 OS from recovery CD on Cyrix 233 (Pentium-I like
CPU) 32 Mb 4.3Gb HDD. Works slow.
I used another linux installed and another kernel, one from the package
didn't want to show me console + some fixes to initscripts.

I think yes if you downgrade it enough ;-)
But do you really want RedHat 6 or 7? (6 is more close than 7!)
It's ancient and ugly!
