Hello cobalt-users,
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this problem I've just
discovered.
I recently enabled cgi access for a vsite on the server, setup a
cgi-bin and chmod to 755.
Site admin then uploads a perl script (which I've looked at and can't see a problem with), sets chmod 755 and
tries to call the script from a test page the result of which is a
HTTP 405 - Resource not allowed error.
So I chmod cgi-bin and script to 777, restart server and .... exactly the same.
So I upload a test script from sunsolve, change it to owner admin and
chmodd 755 as they say to, call the script from a web page and the
server just sends the text of the script to the browser.
I'll just add that as far as I remember, cgi has never worked on
this Raq.
It also appears to happen as above on all vsites so I think there is
a config error somewhere, but I'm blowed if I can find it.
Did I miss something somewhere? any help very much appreciated
