Typical problem is the ethernet jack, it contains spring loaded contacts,
which may break from repeated use. Look inside the jack and make sure none
of these contacts are broken. If broken, the jack may be replaced, but be
careful as removing the jack, if not done properly can damage one or more
of the inner layers of the PCB.
