Yep, you are right, I am in Turkey, and by the time I deal with customs in
each direction and shipping it would cost me close to $700 per qube to ship
them to the US and back. Not really worth it :-)
As far as soldering and unsoldering, I am happy to do so on my own equipment
but not on my customer's.
So I understand from this that I am stuck with the Qube 3 OS.
I am aware that Sun has released the source code for the Qube 3, but have the
released the full build environment? I am considering rolling my own updated
ISOs.
Also is there any tool like "apt" or "autorpm" for Cobalt?
If i understand the design of the qube correctly it apt4rpm should work fine
to keep the underlying OS up to date, but the sausalito interface would not
see the rpm patches as being applied.
Does sausalito have any kind of dependency system that would allow apt to be
ported to it directly?
