Should I go with the version PHP-Nuke 6 or 7?

I'm using PHP 4.0.6
and mySQL 3.23.32

I have this installed on several sites.

It's real easy to install, have no fear. Download the latest version from
phpnuke.org

Just setup the config file (and the MySQL backend), and FTP it to the site
(s) in question.
