[cobalt-users] .htaccess broken?

I'm trying to password protect some directories on a clients dedicated
RaQ using .htaccess and .htpasswd . It simply will not work. I can also
view the .htaccess file from a browser, which I'm not supposed to be
able to do. 

httpd is screwed up somewhere I guess, but don't know where to look. Any
ideas?
