I have Samba access to my Qube2 from a W2K box without making any registry or
system changes. I did have to enable netbios over tcp/ip to get it to
connect. (I did do a little editing on the Qube so the admin account had root
access, but that is another story).  I'll be happy to lookup anything for you
on my system if it will help.
