[cobalt-users] Re: [Qube2] FP 2K Disable.Subweb

The search for knowledge continues. Customer support now tells me:

OK, the Qube2 does not support subwebs even though I used Cobalt software to
enable one. But I still have two really major problems that I really need
some help fixing.

When I installed the Qube2-Update-OS-2.0.pkg it installed updated versions of
enable.subweb and disable.subweb (note that I am saying subweb and not the
RAQ enable.site and disable.site). I then followed the instructions on
Cobalt's How To Frontpage instructions webpage to create a subweb (enable the
FP 2K extensions in /home/groups/test using enable.subweb). It ran just fine.
Now I want to use disable.subweb to remove the subweb (the FP 2K extensions
in /home/groups/test that enable.subweb created. However, using
disable.subweb gives me an error.

(1) How do I remove disable and remove the subweb created using enable.subweb
(Cobalt software following Cobalt documentation)? I just want to clean this
mess up. If disable.subweb will not remove the extensions, can you point me
to instructions on how to remove them manually?

(2) If one cannot use enable.subweb to install FP 2K extensions for a user,
how does one enable a user's directory to use FP 2K extensions? They are not
automatically enabled when the userid is created. If FP 2K is supported on
the Qube2, then some means must be available to enable (install) the
extensions for that user. Thus far, I have not been able to find it.

Can any Qube2 owners give me some hints on how to enable a user's directory
to use FP 2K?

I know it can be done. Surely someone has done it. I have RTFM, but now am
being told the doco is not accurate. Does anyone use a Qube2 with FP 2K
extensions and if so, how did you get them enabled for your users?

Thanks.
