[cobalt-users] [Qube2] FP 2K Disable.Subweb

Without intending to violate any one's privacy by posting snips from private
email, I need some help and advice on this issue.

<Cobalt customer support response>

Mike,

Unfortunately, subwebs are not supported on the Qube2 server at this time.
There is only Frontpage support for the main web on the server.

My response was:

<MikeV response>

FP subwebs worked and were supported in FP 98.

The FP 2K enable.subweb and disable.subweb programs are written and supplied
by Cobalt. They were included by Cobalt and were installed with the pkg
upgrade.

Cobalt supplied the enable.subweb program that allowed me to create the FP 2K
subweb. Would it not follow that the Cobalt supplied disable.subweb program
should allow one to remove the same FP 2K subweb?

Are you saying that individual users must all use the same main web??? Each
user under /home/group/ is allowed to have their own web page and be able to
use FP to manage their pages. All user web pages under the root web are
subwebs.

I do not intend to be rude, but please ask someone who works in the FP Cobalt
Qube2 area about this issue. Your response is totally incorrect.

All that is needed is a FP 2K version of fpsrvadm.exe that should have been
included in the Cobalt update pkg.

Please help.
