I am replacing an existing mail server (sun os 5.6, x86 >2000 users) with a
cobalt raq 3. I have sendmail and pop3 working (another server for smtp) and
have managed to copy over the /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow file and "cat" them
together. Mail can be sent to user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and it works fine, but I
cannot get the users I copied from the old server to show up in the web browser
interface. Only new users added via the web browser show up there.
If it were up to me, this would be okay as the web interface really doesn't
matter to much for me, but for the non-linux admins (my bosses) it is
important. Anyone else had to deal with this?
