Are you talking about the Miva Empresa engine, or Miva Merchant?

If it's the engine you are inquiring about, you only need one license per
server.  You then either create a global cgi-bin/miva binary location, or
install the miva binary directly into their cgi-bin directory and update the
Miva configuration files.

If you're installing Merchant for the client, then yes, you would install
Merchant directly into the their Web directory.  It should have a URL of
theirsite.com/Merchant2/.  This is assuming that you purchased a new 'Mall'
license and not just an additional 'storefront' license.  If you have the
latter, then they need to use your main Merchant installation.
