I'm not going to be much help here ;-)
I haven't heard of it, and I would be surprised (I know I shouldn't have
said that) if anyone has, as email header fields starting X- are
user-defined fields so far as RFC822 (Standard for the Fotmat of ARPA
Internet Text Messages) is concerned.
This basically means that I could write an email application and use a field
called X-POP-3-Rcpt and put my inside leg measurement in it. If I wanted to.
In other words, it's a propriety thing and presumably something you want to
include so that a particular mail product uses it when talking to clients
using the same product?
Like I said, I'm not going to be much help, as I don't know how to modify
the headers in SENDMAIL (I could pull my copy of the bat book off the shelf)
but you will need to find out what needs to be defined as the value in this
field and this could require sendmail.cf programming unless you want to set
it to the same value for every email that passes through sendmail.
