Well, they respond to email quickly with personal replies. When they first
started they didn't have an option to change your main account password. I
emailed them, and it was up the next day.
I don't know about the phone number thing. :) I don't usually call
overseas. I clicked on the "CSL GmbH" at the bottom and went to the
company's homepage. I don't speak german but I did find a phone number for
somebody. <g>

Through the web (https). very easy.

Each nameserver is given a handle. You then associate the handle with your
domain. Change the info for the nameserver handle, and you're done.

I haven't tried. Not sure.

You can change contact handles via the web, as above. To change the domain
owner's physical address, or to transfer the domain, you need to use a
snailmail/fax form. Haven't done it myself.
They have a reseller program, fwiw, but no, I haven't signed up.

Well, they're not perfect, but a zillion times better than NSI. What I
like:
[1] changes made through the web (change nameservers/contacts, say) they
show up in whois right away
[2] everything is handle-based
I suppose the best way to figure out if -you- like it is register a domain
for $12 (which you earn in 3.5 minutes of consulting time :-) and fiddle
with it.
