[cobalt-users] IPPORTFW and IP_MASQ_ICQ

Hello,

I'm trying to recompile the Qube2 kernel to include these 2 modules
(IPPORTFW and IP_MASQ_ICQ)

To let the LAN users use the ICQ chat module via internet.

I tried to recompile the kernel with the source code in the following
location:

/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/linux-2.0.34-cobalt.tar.gz

And it OF COURSE made my Qube2 inaccessible, so I had to use the backdoor to
restore the old kernel. 

How can I first just compile a working kernel in Qube 2 ? And after it, I
will think about patching it to include the modules for masquerading and
recompiling it...

Doe anyone can give me help on it ? Or point me to a better solution for
things like that ???
