[cobalt-users] SSL newbie questions

Hello all,

sorry for asking questions already anwsered before, but I have looked into
the mailing list archive and found some anwsers to the following questions,
but some say A and some B and I don't know what's right. Perhaps there's
anybody on this list who could answer them. Thanks!

I have a RaQ2 and am not using SSL yet. Now I would like to install SSL
which I need the software from Cobalt as well as a certificate, all clear.

1. I would like to offer that each of my customers who is willing to buy its
own certificate can use ssl via his own domain (each customer has its own
virtual site). I have read some postings in the archive saying that it's not
possible to have multiple domains encrypted by ssl. Is this right or wrong ?

2. If (1) is possible, do I need a separate IP for each of the virtual sites
which want to use ssl (ip-bases) or can I share IPs between them
(name-based) ?
