[cobalt-users] Slow inital mail connection on RaQ3

I am using Outlook Express 5 to send and receive email.   I send and receive
mail for several accounts. When I initially connect to the net and send and
receive mail for the first RaQ3 user account there is a 40+ second delay in
connecting and checking mail.

After the first connection is completed the other user accounts receive mail
normally even when switching to my earthlink.net account  and back to the
mail accounts located on the RaQ3 server. All future mail account requests
are handled normally until I close the internet connection.  When I
reconnect to the net I have the same problem again.

I tried connecting to my earthlink.net mail account first but there is still
a delay connecting to the first RaQ3 mail account request.

I also tried connecting to different user accounts but get the same result
with first account accessed.

I did not have that problem with my previous server (Linux)
