You put it in your FTP directory? Is your ftp directory setup to allow
cgi to execute in your apache confs?
You would want to create the cgi-bin directory in a web directory :) OR you
want to change the apache confs to allow execution of cgis in the ftp
directory, which would entail setting up the proper ScriptAliases and such.
