I would first change your max message size to about 10MB, there is no
earthly need for 50mb mail file attachment, that is what ftp is for. We
actually keep all of ours at 5MB.
I would telnet/ssh in and do a top to see what is taking so much of your
processor and memory up. Someone could be running a badly written cgi
script.
