[cobalt-users] pop b4 smtp problem (RAQ2)

Hi all,

We are having a pop b4 relay problem being reported by some of our clients 
using email accounts on our server.

It appears that after checking their mail, they are getting relay denied 
messages, asking them to check their mail b4 sending.

I've looked in the logs and the following is the error coming back on a failure:

arg1=<keith@xxxxxxxxxx>, relay=IDENT:keith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 
[203.63.238.79] (may be forged), reject=550 <keith@xxxxxxxxxx>... Relaying 
denied.  Please POP before sending.
Mar 22 20:18:54 ns sendmail[24377]: UAA24377: from=<linux@xxxxxxxxxx>, 
size=0, class=0, pri=0, nrcpts=0, proto=ESMTP, 
relay=IDENT:keith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [203.63.238.79] (may be forged)

I can't personally fault the accounts...but I see the hostmask format seems 
to include the users isp login, would this be the cause of why pop b4 smtp is 
failing?

Any ideas would be much appreciated
