[cobalt-users] [RaQ3] DNS

I may be on the wrong thread, if so excuse me!
Is it absolutely necessary to run GUI - DNS on a RaQ3?
I use a Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Name Servers Out On
the Internet.
These Name Servers are located in two countries and in three
different locations.
The thought being that in case one of them is wiped out by
a catastrophe "flood", "tornado", "Iraqi Scud Missile"
etceteras, At least one of the others should still be
working.
Also, doesn't running Name Service on your own computer
eat-up some of your bandwidth?
