It's working!!!

I arranged with DN to add chat to the zone, and at this point I could access
http://chat.cifc.org.uk which then as you said it would, Jeff, renamed
itself to http://www.chat.cifc.org.uk.

What I then did was to delete the virtual web and set one up with the host
name of chat and the domain name of cifc.org.uk, unticked the boxes that
refer to web access and e-mail by domain, and went live with it.

What I now have is a website that remains at http://chat.cifc.org.uk, which
is what I was aiming for - I am a happy man :-)
