The default installation on MY RaQ2 runs majordomo as admin.

To determine which user majordomo runs as, execute the following (NOT
from root):

$ ./wrapper config-test

It'll tell you <smile>.

Yes...

So I wouldn't have to go through what you're going through. Cobalt tech
support told me they didn't support majordomo for lists except for what
you could set up through the Raq's gui interface; since we do a lot of
majordomo hosting, with a lot of different clients with a lot of
different requirements, the gui option wasn't really an option for me;
mainly because there's not enough control over the aliases that make
majordomo work.

We set up lots of copies of majordomo every year.

There are much easier ways to do it, but if you like doing it that way,
go ahead... It's true that it does let your customers configure their
own lists, which is more than I can say for my solution. We set up our
customers manually.

It gets easier at about 100 installations a year <wry grin>.
