Definitely no! Currently, ASP is a MS only technology and you
have two possibilities to come around your client´s wish:
- There is a webserver from Chili-Soft that is capable of
interpreting ASPs. They´ve released it for Solaris and I´m
not sure if there´s a linux port yet. And of course it
costs quite a few bucks.
- Set up a NT/Win 2000 server and provide your client with
an IIS webserver
Either you make use of one of this possibilities or you
convince your client to use FP extensions only or solve it´s
problem with PHP3 or a similar scripting engine.
Best regards!
