Seriously, I saw a bunch of so-called RaQ-competitors at the recent
Computer Telephony Expo 2000 in Los Angeles. They all use off-the-shelf
components. So you get sound and video on the motherboards, which come (of
course) from the Korean or Taiwanese vendor of the month.
The only ones that look at all interesting are the 2u high ones, because
they include redundant hot swap (raid) drives and power supplies. But they
don't replace the RaQs, they just give us something higher end to sell.
