I seem to remember saying, somewhere toward the beginning of this thread, 
that using a leading 0 is undefined, and therefore the results are undefined.

That's why I don't do it.

Until today, when I did it as part of a test inspired by this thread, and 
ended up with a site I can't delete <frown>.
