[cobalt-users] Email forwarding Problem
- Subject: [cobalt-users] Email forwarding Problem

I want to use my Qube as a email forwarder, and what I need to do is forward
inbound email
to another address...
The email address is a fax address like
/fax=555-1212/rfax@xxxxxxxxxx
or I could do a
"/fax=555121/"<rfax@xxxxxxxxxx >
While I can get outlook to send the email in this manner, I cant get either
the java script to allow for such names in the forwarding, when using the
browser interface
or I cant get the /etc/aliases file to take either types of redirection and
work.
When I edit the /etc/aliases file, to show the fax number prefix, as the
forwarding address, whatever email program is being used is stipping off
the fax number before it gets forwarded.
But if I send it to myself with the fax number, I get the email proper.
Any thoughts.... I know I must be missing something.
