RE: [cobalt-users] New guy...

I just completed same things. These are the steps to follow:

1. Register your name server with the Internic
(http://www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/makechanges/itts/host) for example
ns1.mymaindomain.com 241.144.132.65 (this is the RAQ3i main IP address)

2. Set up DNS service following the instructions in the user manual (use the
quick DNS guide)

3. Contact your ISP and ask him to provide secondary DNS services for you.
You will need to give them the ns1.mymaindomain.com and the IP address of
the Raq3i. They need to give you something like ns1.myispdns.net
241.122.123.123

4. Go to the Internic and submit changes to a Domain so you can list the new
Domain servers for your domains
(http://www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/makechanges/domain.mod).

5. It will tale something like three days until everything syncs and gets
updated.

I would suggest that you buy DNS Expert from
http://www.menandmice.com/sales/orderWin.html it will provide you with
everything to test and fine tune your DNS.
