Yes, as I finally figured out when helping someone else today <frown>.
The way I personally test dns here, to make sure a new primary is running,
is to set up a test domain using the new primary as primary and one of my
systems as secondary. Then I don't add it to my system. When I look up
dns I know it's coming from the primary; it can't be coming from a
secondary, 'cause the secondary doesn't have the domain. Of course I do
this with a test domain registered at Network Solutions; they don't care
<wry grin>.
