[cobalt-users] DNS question

Time to ask for help.

Three weeks ago Internic acknowledged my request for a new DNS for the
colo'd RaQ3 I have, using ns.springville.net (64.29.16.36) and
ns2.springville.net (64.29.17.36). I'm pretty sure I've got the box set up
correctly because I followed anything I could find in the KB and previous
posts.
Internic's not yet notified me that this request has been processed. The DNS
information shows up in their database but without my name/address, probably
because ten days ago, to test the system, I moved the domain humgardens.com
(64.29.22.65) to the server and requested and received Internic's
confirmation. This shows up in their database also.
I'm not able to access humgardens in the browser without using the IP
number. To make this really interesting, I can (only) send humgardens an
email using the IP numbers but I am able to receive the account's email
using the domain name! I have a dozen more sites to move, but I won't until
I know the server's working properly.

Might this be because of Internic's delay or could I have screwed up the
DNS?

(I still have the web site for www.springville.net on another server since
it has a very active /wx directory, haven't moved it yet. One of the posts I
read said that didn't matter.)
