[cobalt-users] International Register Doesn't See Our DNS Server

Greetings,

Would anyone have any ideas on how to proceed with an international register
who doesn't seem to see our DNS server entries..? We have a dedicated
Cobalt RaQ3i at dN (ournameone.net), running our own primary DNS server off
the box, and a dN nameserver as the backup. We have an old beige box at
another NOC (ourname1.net) that we're transferring all the domains off of,
and over to the new Cobalt (ournameone.net).

When this customer (in Australia) tries to update his DNS entries, they keep
getting rejected with the following error:

************
Processing: xyz.com.au Checking Delegation...
Your delegation request has been parsed by the DNS consistency checking
routine, and the following error diagnostic was generated.

ns2.siteprotect.com referenced as a NS by ns1.ournameone.net, but not
listed

You will need to resolve this problem and resubmit this request.
************

But siteprotect.com is for an aliased DNS server at the *old* NOC
(ourname1.net), and it has NEVER been associated with a DNS server on
ournameone.net in any way. Our old box at the old NOC is under
ourname1.net, *not* ournameone.net... Why won't the Australian register
accept these entries..? Again, the ournameone.net account is the new Cobalt
box at dN, and our US customers are all updated correctly and enjoying the
new Cobalt services.. It's just that the international register in Australia
is rejecting our DNS entries..

Thank you for any insight to this bizarre dilemma.

Best Regards,
Craig Napier
