Very good answer <wry grin>. Very simplistic.If you know how to make a PC-based router run BGP and auto-update routing tables when lines go down, AND handle both cable connections and DSL connections, and if you know where to buy pc cards to handle cable lines and dsl lines, please let us all know.
You do know, I presume, that without BGP you don't have redundancy because nothing knows how to reach you, right?
And you do know that to make BGP work with two separate upstreams you need portable IP#s, right? And you do know how to get portable IP#s for cable and DSL connections, right?
