Re: [cobalt-users] Mod_Perl

The only part I don't quite understand is:

>    # perl Makefile.PL \
>    # USE_APXS=1 \
>    # WITH_APXS=/usr/sbin/apxs \
>    # NO_HTTPD=1 \
>    # EVERYTHING=1 \

>    # make && make install

I have installed modules before, but I always just ran

# perl Makefile.PL
# make
# make test
# make install

Where do those other parameters come in? Do I place them in a configuration
file? Are they edits to the Makefile.PL?

I apologize for what is probably a fundamental question that most folks
learned the first day of class, but it never hurts to ask. I'm sure it's
one of those "if you don't know, you shouldn't be trying to this" kinds of
things. What can I say, I also ran with scissors when I was a kid.

Thanks
