Oops, sorry.

I agree - stretching it thin over IRC channels, various wwwboards,
other mailing lists, etc. really accomplishes nothing. I myself
find the list invaluable, and have benefited from not only your
helpful advice, but those of others.
However... I do see the need for an online resource, similar to
the Cobalt knowledge base - and tied into this list, ie: instead
of "search the archives", "visit here and click on xxx subject'.
The advantage is that the entries could be made by Cobalt users -
for Cobalt users. Some examples:
* How to setup virtual SSL hosting on a RaQ3
* How to install PHP3/MySQL
* A rating of various e-commerce/third-party software apps
for the RaQ2/RaQ3, and any comments/ratings (ie: was
really hard to install, tech support non-existant, etc.)
* How to install third-party web stat programs, etc.
* How to configure catch-alls, proper DNS, etc.

As you've so aptly pointed out, setting something up like this
would be no small effort in itself, but once in place (and
functioning), it would require little effort to maintain (other
than people adding their own comments/experiences).
As I said, I've really benefited from the list, so I'd happily
donate my time to furthering a project like this if it benefited
everyone in the long run.
