It's your compression setting for your JPEG images. You may have it set 
for low/medium quality (high/medium compression). It is a workflow issue 
and is not an issue with your machine or graphic.

Most graphics appls (like Photoshop) by default (without 3rd party 
plug-ins) do not preview what your JPEG will look like when you save your 
image in that format. Basically, you are still looking at your original 
(which may be fine) and not at your JPEG after the file save. You need to 
manually open up the JPEG file and compare it to your original - or at 
the very least, open up the JPEG and see if the quality is acceptable.
