Do you mean you actually have been able to 1) back up, 2) restore and only
when the file size gets too big can you not 1)back-up and 2)restore or just
not restore when the file is big?

Just how big is big?

I know of a work around using scheduled backup. The problem is then restoring.
I press restore on an empty raq2 hoping to produce a working machine from
the previously saved backup files. The machine wont even list the files
from which I am supposed to make a selection to restore.

I am clearly missing something. The problem is what?
