yes, all are on one ip, i will try that out then
so i dont need to add them in the DNS settings? just the conf?

First are you using name based virtual hosting? (do they all point to 1 ip)
If so you need to do this:
Do NOT creat domain1 in the gui.
Create domain2 in the gui
edit /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Look for this line in the section of domain2
ServerAlias domain2
add the following after domain2 www.domain1.com domain1.com
so it should look like this:
ServerAlias domain2 www.domain1.com domain1.com
Then when someone requests domain1 they will end up on domain2

i checked out the archives, maybe i didnt look hard enough
1. how do i setup domain1.com to point to domain2.com
2. can i setup domain.com to point to domain2.com/directory
I tired setting a CNAME but it didnt work, maybe i did it wrong
