Yes. I did. I wrote him a very nice email, letting him know that what he
did was UCE, and spam, and certainly in violation of good business
ethics. I pointed out, politely, that I never said I had a problem, and
that I didn't even own a RaQ (I rent), so why would I buy one of his.
In other words, I treated him with respect.
I sent a copy to the CEO of his company (in the CC field, so he'd
notice). I also left a voice message on the CEO's voicemail, telling him
about this employee with less brains than breakfast.
I also let him know that I'd be contacting his upstream, digex, and that he
could easily cost his company their entire net presence.
