RE: [cobalt-users] Secure Servers and Transaction proccessing info required

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your quick reply and sorry we have not gotten back to you sooner.
We have been swamped and this was sort of put on the back burner :).

You will have to forgive our lack of knowledge in this whole secure server
area as we have not had any experience with it. We are hoping you can answer
a couple of questions for us here.

We would like to know how this all operates on the server. For example, if a
customer has an order form that is taking credit card information, this
would all be redirected to the secure server. If this same customer does not
have a third party processing these credit cards but instead would like to
do this manually from their place of business as this is where they have
their credit card machine, how would they receive these orders? Would it be
possible for this information to be emailed to them and if so, how would
this be done securely?

If this same customer wanted to have these orders fully processed online,
what all would be required for this by us? We are assuming this UNIXPAC SSL
package is similar to what Cobalt offers, but how would this all tie in with
the processing of these orders?

Thanks,
Ali & Charlie
